| The early beginnings of the original bakehouse operated in nearby Havelock North from 1891, then for the latter 60 years, the bakehouse has been situated in an heritage building right in central Hastings. Around the turn of the 21st century, this site was expanded to include the new 60 seat cafe, complete with locally roasted coffee to complement the fine food always on offer. |
| To complement the immensely popular and widely-known custard squares, Warren's serves excellent portions of traditional cakes, buns, scones and muffins, plus a wide range of filled sandwiches, wraps and bagels, donuts, pies, quiches & light lunches. Gateaux and decorated cakes are available or can be ordered. Wedding cakes and small function catering are welcomed. |
